Introduction into sourcecode version management with Xbase++ using Subversion

Most of the Xbase++ developers today are still working without using a version management system or are storing their different versions in a corresponding directory structure. Life is getting harder if (e.g.) error corrections have to be applied to the latest release and the current version still under development or if more developers are working on one program. Although there are tools that are easing our life – be it for a team or a single developer.
At first glance a version management system does not look like it is easy to use and needs a lot of preliminary work – therefore this session is used to alleviate the first steps into version management in theory and by practical experience. It is intended to show a complete installation from the beginning to the end during that session. The used operating system will be Opensuse (Linux).

FRAX is going to be presented using some practical examples for including and usage of the report writer.
